The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) entered day five this morning, with more than 600 thousand candidates taking the tests.
Senior Government officials led by Energy Chief Administrative Secretary Simon Kachapin were in Elgeyo Marakwet County to supervise the opening of exam containers for distribution to schools.
CAS Kachapin witnessed the opening of KCSE exam storage container at the County Commissioners office.
The ex-West Pokot Governor, who was accompanied by Education Principal Secretary Kipsang Belio, also visited St. Patrick’s Iten before the start of the day’s examination.
Top government officials, led by various Cabinet Secretaries, have been supervising the operation to ensure the safety of the examinations materials at various centres.
