The results of 226 candidates at Kapkenda Girls High School are among those withheld over suspicions of cheating.
Gloom and anxiety gripped teachers, parents and students after it emerged that their results were missing.
According to the school principal Jemima Sambai, they are still waiting for communication from the Kenya National Examination Council(KNEC).
“We are still waiting for communication from KNEC, through the county director’s office, so that we can be able to be informed on way forward,”she said.
The principal urged candidates and parents to remain calm as they await to know their fate.
KNEC boss Prof George Magoha had announced that the results of 100 candidates were cancelled in this year’s exam over cheating.
