Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi today presided over the 14th graduation ceremony at the Kabarak University.
The Senator conferred honours to 770 graduands in his capacity as Pro-Chancellor of the institution.
The honours include; Bachelor’s degrees, diplomas and certificates.
Senator Moi congratulated the graduands and attributed their success to their hardwork, determination, sacrifice and dedication.
“Today you join the workforce, let your imagination and innovation fly. The world has changed and not all of you will be employed but all of you have got an amazing power at hand,”said Moi.
The Senator advised the graduates to strive to leave a good legacy terming it as ‘their best contribution to their family, country and the world’.
The lawmaker at the same time divulged that his father, Retired President Daniel Arap Moi, who was early this week admitted at Nairobi Hospital, is fairing on well.
“Mzee, the Chancellor, was admitted to hospital but he is getting better and we are confident God is taking care of him because of your prayers. We are very hopeful that in the next few days he will be back with us at home,” he said.
