Trans Nzoia County Government will cater for the funeral expenses of six victims who died following the police shootings in Kolongolo, Kwanza Constituency last Sunday.
Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi said following consultations with Governor Patrick Khaemba, the County Government has agreed to foot expenses of those who lost their lives following the fracas.
“The County Government will foot all the mortuary bills and cater for the burial expenses of the victims,” said Wanyonyi.
Wanyonyi said a mass burial for the victims will be held after Christmas day.
The lawmaker also said he will sue State over the brutal killings. He revealed that he has instructed four prominent lawyers to begin building a case against State.
