Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang has been named a finalist for Kenya’s most influential young people in the year 2018.
The announcement was released on Monday 7th January by leading public relations and rating agency, Avance Media and Jagari Designs.
Governor Sang was nominated under the Law and Governance category.
He will be competing against Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, Nominated Senator Mercy Chebeni, MPs Charles Kanyi and John Paul Mwirigi.
Others are MCA Grace Sundukwa, Ngania Mellissa, Naomi Kasi and Scheaffer Okore.
This is the third edition of the prestigious annual ranking focused on young people.
The Governor was nominated over his remarkable contribution in governance, which has extended impact to other young people across Kenya and beyond.
Public voting has commenced on http://ke.avancemedia.org to determine the influence of Governor Sang and other nominees in their categories and in the overall ranking.
