Governor Prof John Lonyangapuo flagged off the consignment drugs that will be distributed to all the 101 dispensaries.
Speaking during the flag off on Monday, the county boss said his administration was committed to equipping the medical facilities with enough drugs to curb drug shortages.
“Timely supply of drugs is a key factor in ensuring satisfactory service delivery. My administration remains committed to ensuring accessible and efficient services are rendered,”said Lonyangapuo.
He said another consignment that will be distributed to the Kapenguria County Referral Hospital and Sub County Hospitals, will arrive in a weeks time.
Lonyangapuo further disclosed that the supply will last the facilities for three months.
