Nandi County MCA Cornelius Kibet, popularly known as Sarasar, on Thursday bid farewell to bachelorhood, after he married the love of his life, at a colourful ceremony that was attended by a number of leaders from the county.
The MCA, who was nominated to represent Persons Living With Disabilities(PWDs), formally quit the bachelors club, exchanging marital vows and wedding rings with Mercy at his Kapkeringon home in Kabisaga.
The ceremony was full of pomp and colour, with a host of his colleagues in attendance led by the County Assembly Majority Leader David ‘Babu’ Koech.
Speaker Joshua Kiptoo led dignitaries who included Nandi County Senator Kiprotich Cherargei, Women Rep Dr Tecla Tum, Mosop MP Vincent Tuwei and Nairobi based lawyer cum politician Allan Kosgey.
The leaders congratulated the newlywed couples for their bold step.
