Turkana Central MP Lodepe Nakara has warned teenage girls in the county over indulging in early sex and easily giving in to ‘sponsors’.
According to the legislator, there are worrying statistics that many of those living with HIV in Turkana Central Sub County are girls between the age of 15 and 25 years.
“You should aim at completing your education first and after that get a man go test,”said Lodepe.
She urged girls not to judge the HIV status of a man by how fat or slim he is and asked them to focus on education.
“Anyone can be HIV positive, don’t judge anyone by his appearance,”warned the legislator.
