Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has expressed his disappointment over a move by Businessman-cum politician Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop(Buzeki) to ditch Jubilee for Chama Cha Mashinani.
Speaking during a radio interview, Sudi said Buzeki was his candidate for the Uasin Gishu County gubernatorial seat in the 2022 polls.
“Buzeki was my preferred candidate for the governor’s post in 2022 but he has really disappointed me,” said Sudi.
He said Buzeki’s ratings had rose to over 70 per cent but have shot down following his latest miscalculation. Sudi however pointed out that 2022 is still far and a lot might change in the political scene.
Over the weekend, Buzeki officially joined CCM and stated that the Mashinani party will be his political vehicle in the 2022 polls.
However the move has not been received well by a majority of residents in the county. It has been reported that the businessman is planning on joining forces with Kieleweke team, a political camp formed to oppose Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto.
