Governor Kiptis said the construction will be fast-paced in honour of recognized athletes who hail from the region.
“We want to ensure by this time next year the pavillion, changing rooms and a running track are ready,”said Kiptis who was at the stadium.
The County Boss said a perimeter wall will also constructed.
He pointed out that the cost of the upgrade of the stadium might total to Sh20 million.
