Nandi County Assembly has approved five nominees to the County Public Service Board.
The list was unanimously approved during a special sitting confirming Dr. Daniel Kemei as the chairman.
The Appointment committee, after vetting the nominees, recommended that they be approved and this was supported by members of the county assembly.
“Upon deliberations, the house adopted the (committee) report and approved the names to be appointed to the positions they were vetted for,”read a statement from the county assembly.
Members who were approved to the new board include; Ezekiel Chemwor, Daniel Mwogoi and Irine Jepkorir Choge.
Jacob Sisey, who served as a Chief Officer in the previous regime also got the nod to sit in the new board.
The house however declined to approve Eliseba Arusei.
According to a statement from the assembly, she has been given 14 days to furnish the house with her documents, which were improperly presented to the committee.
