Embattled local carrier Silverstone Air has suspended flights to Lodwar citing poor economic performance.
This comes just a week after one of the planes they operate was forced to make an emergency landing in Eldoret after a tyre fell off after take off.
The airline launched flights to Lodwar in January 2018 had become a household name in the North Rift region until the recent series of air incidents.
The airline termed the suspension of scheduled flights to Lodwar as purely a business decision.
Silverstone also suspended flights to Wajir and Homabay.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority(KCAA) has commenced an audit on the services of Silverstone over the accidents involving their planes.
