Turbo MP Janet Sitienei on Wednesday snubbed an invite to make remarks during the launch of the Building Bridges Bridges(BBI) report at the Bomas of Kenya.
The lawmaker, who was present had been invited by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, who was the master of ceremony.
However despite her presence, Sitienei refused to speak during the launch of the much hyped document.
This comes after claims by Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen that there was a deliberate plot to sideline Speaker’s allied to Deputy President William Ruto.
Factional politics played out during the event with a section of Tangatanga allied leaders accusing the organisers of intentionally locking them out from the programme.
This begs the question could the MP, a loyalist of DP Ruto, have been discouraged by the partiality that played out in the selection of those who addressed the event?
Efforts by Northrift News to reach her for comment were futile.
