This year’s Kimalel Goat Auction and cultural fair is scheduled to take place from 18th to 21st December.
According to an invitation to county governor’s, Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis said the four day event will be presided over by Deputy President William Ruto.
The event themed The Rangelands Economy and Pastrolism, coincides with the Kenya Pastoralist week.
Governor Kiptis said key activities in the 7th edition of the annual event, will include a pastoralist conference, Kaldich rowing, exhibitions, cultural dances and a gala night.
The climax of the event will be the annual goat auction where premium goats are sold.
