Nova Pioneer School, that was launched on Monday in Eldoret, has now emerged as the most expensive elite school in the North Rift region.
With fees hitting close to half a million shillings(494,000) per year, the prestigious school is already receiving students for the year 2020.
The trend signals that parents in the region are increasingly embracing international education to give their children a better chance at upward mobility and set them up for admissions to top universities abroad.
Nova Pioneer East Africa Managing Director, Ms. K. Danae Pauli, had noted that their Sh1.6 billion investment was informed by the rising need for world-class education to compete in today’s world driven by technology.
The institution will offer the Kenya National Curriculum, delivered in a way that develops character, skills and connection, preparing students to lead and innovate in the 21st century.
Located along the Eldoret-Nairobi highway, the full-boarding girls and boys secondary schools has been developed on a 20 acre piece of land.
Its facilities will include modern classrooms with technology that enhances learning, boarding facilities as well as grounds for sports and club activities.
