Turkana County Government is eyeing to ink a new partnership with Borlänge Municipality in Sweden.
According to Governor Josphat Nanok, the areas for new partnership with the Swedish Municipality include Waste Management, Green and Sustainable Energy Solutions and Technical Education and Training.
Governor Nanok, who is leading a delegation from Turkana County, on Tuesday addressed the City County Assembly of Borlänge Municipality.
The delegation had earlier been welcomed by Borlänge Deputy Mayor Mari Johnson.
Early this year, the Deputy Mayor led a delegation from Sweden, in a visit to Turkana County to review a partnership that was signed in 2017.
The two regional governments had entered into a 3-year partnership on Local Democracy, Gender Equality and Refugee host community integration.
