Senator Gideon Moi’s Lord Erroll Gourmet Restaurant has been closed temporarily following floods due to heavy rains.
The hotel located in Runda flooded after a nearby river burst its banks.
In a statement on its Facebook page, the hotel management said the facility will remain closed until further notice.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances we would like to inform our valued guests that we will remain closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconveniences caused and we look forward to hosting you next week,” the statement read.
The state of the hotel after the floods has been circulated and trending online.
Gideon Moi’s wife Zahra Balewa Moi is the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the restaurant.
In 2017 the restaurant bagged a global award(Restaurant of the Year Category) in London.
