Trans Nzoia County Water, Environment and Natural Resources Executive Maurice Lokwaliwa has resigned from his position under unclear circumstances.
Lokwaliwa confirmed to Northrift News that he tendered his resignation but didn’t provide details.
“It is true I have resigned but I want to clarify that I resigned to pursue other personal interests,”said Lokwaliwa.
Lokwaliwa, who hails from the minority Turkana community, said he felt it was time for him to pursue and focus on other interests.
The County Minister has served in the docket from the time Governor Patrick Khaemba came into office in 2013.
