Tributes continue to pour locally following the demise of former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi on Tuesday morning.
Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba on visited the Moi family at their Kabarnet gardens home in Nairobi to deliver his message of condolence.
The governor mourned Moi for his philosophy of peace, love and unity which he said will continue to inspire generations to come.
He said the Late Moi had left a rich legacy especially in the education and the agriculture sector.
“As a county, we are grateful to Mzee Moi for having identified our region as the potential food basket of the country and ensure that the necessary initiatives put In place to achieve this,” said Khaemba.
“May the almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace,” he added.
