Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has said the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) rally that was scheduled to take place in Nakuru this weekend has been postponed.
In a statement on his social media pages, Senator Murkomen said the rally has been put on hold following the passing on of Retired President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.
“Following the passing on of HE President Daniel T. Arap Moi all BBI rallies have been postponed,” said Murkomen.
“Consequently the Nakuru rally which was planned for the 8th Feb 2020 has been rescheduled to a future date to be communicated in due course,” he added.
The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator had earlier said Tangatanga were putting more emphasis on the Nakuru rally because that is Jubileeās home ground.
