Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi has eulogised the late Emeritus Raphael Ndingi Mwana a’Nzeki as a quintessential defender of human rights.
In a condolence message through his social media pages, Senator Moi said Ndingi’s contribution to democratization of Kenya is deeply etched in history.
The Former Archbishop passed away on Monday night at the age of 88.
“I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and the Catholic Church at large, following the sudden demise of Emeritus Archbishop Ndingi Mwana ‘a Nzeki yesterday night,” said Moi.
“Ndingi was a devoted Christian; an earthly vessel for the Gospel who venerated humanity, and had outpouring love for this country,” he added.
Senator Moi said the late Ndingi reaffirmed the church’s place in shaping our governance discourses while being the sober voice in the face of crises.
