Trans Nzoia County has received sanitizers from the national government in a concerted effort to prevent the coronavirus outbreak.
The sanitizers were received today by Governor Patrick Khaemba at the office of the County Commissioner Samson Ojwang.
The sanitizers are packed in 500 millimeters and 20 litre containers.
According to State, the 500 millimeter containers are for household use while the 20 litre containers are meant for institutions such as health centres, police stations, Chiefs`offices, market centres, and other places where Kenyans frequent for essential services.
Governor Khaemba welcomed the national government’s gesture in response to the deadly disease.
He urged residents to continue adhering to the guidelines given by the government to prevent spread of coronavirus.
