Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has taken a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta over alleged plans to drop allies of Deputy President William Ruto from his Cabinet.
In a social media post, Sudi told off President Kenyatta over the alleged looming cabinet shakeup.
The controversial legislator said the President should make his threats real by firing all Kalenjin professionals serving in his government.
“I understand there is a looming reshuffle. I ask the President not to threaten us with a reshuffle, just let him allow us to provide him with a list of all Kalenjin professionals serving in his government for him to fire them once and for all,”said Sudi.
In an apparent reference to the Tangatanga group allied to DP Ruto, the Kapseret MP said they are no longer interested with Uhuru’s government.
“Uhuru always claims, my government this, my government that…no one is still interested in his government, let him do what he feels like doing,”he added.
The remarks by Sudi come following reports that President Uhuru is planning to axe Cabinet members allied to DP Ruto.
There have been claims that Uhuru plans to form a government of national unity that will bring in allies of ODM leader Raila Odinga and his Kanu counterpart Senator Gideon Moi.
