Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has branded Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei a ‘Kieleweke’ member.
Through his Facebook page, Sudi while commenting on a poster showing that Cherargei was to appear on a TV interview with Nyeri town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, said both are Kieleweke members and should be ignored.
“Ignore them. They are both Kieleweke,” posted Sudi, who is a confidant of Deputy President William Ruto.
Kieleweke is a political outfit opposing the DP Ruto and is believed to have the blessings of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The accusations comes a day after Cherargei defended himself against claims that he is among Jubilee Senators who approved the changes to the House leadership.
The controversial Senator on Tuesday took to his social media platforms in attempts to ward off allegations that he is among the 20 Senators who endorsed the removal of Senators Kipchumba Murkomen and Susan Kihika as Majority Leader and Whip respectively.
The lawmaker said the genuine list he signed was the one that Senator Kihika forwarded to the Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, with names of 22 members who snubbed State House meeting.
“The REAL list ignore any other propaganda doing rounds in social media platforms,” said Cherargei.
Social media was abuzz with supporters of Deputy President William Ruto branding him as a sell-out after the claims that he backed the axing of Murkomen and Kihika.
