Lawyer Mary Karen Kigen-Sorobit is among 10 candidates who have been shortlisted for the position Registrar of Political Parties.
In a notice placed in one of the local dailies, the Public Service Commission has published the names of twelve candidates for the post.
Mary Karen, who hails from Uasin Gishu County, will compete for the post with the current Acting Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu, Kennedy Mosoti, Murshid Abdalla, Nancy Dalla, Edwin Ngetich, Henry Mwenda Rithaa, Edith King’ori, Lukas Mwanza and Sheila yieke.
Mary Karen’s interview has been scheduled and will be conducted on June 29 at 12.45 p.m.
In run-up to the 2017 elections, Jubilee Party appointed MaryKaren its deputy executive director and head of legal and compliance.
