Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has reshuffled county chief officers in what he said would enhance service delivery.
In the changes announced on Thursday by the County Secretary Dr Francis Sang, Governor Sang reassigned Scholastica Tuwei from social welfare to the Education department.
Governor Sang has split the Lands, Environment and Natural resources with the Lands and Environment remaining under CO Solomon Mang’ira.
Daniel Sang was moved from the Education department and will now be the CO Water and Natural Resources.
The County Boss merged the functions of Tourism with Culture and Social welfare into Tourism, Culture, Gender and Social welfare and will now be under Beatrice Chemurgor.
Philip Towett has been moved to the Industrialization and Enterprise docket and will be replaced by Feizal Mohamed as the new CO Administration and Public Service.
Dr. Rose Boit will now be the Chief Officer in charge of Trade and Investment.
According to Dr. Sang, the changes take effect immediately.
