Following the unveiling of Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report, Uasin Gishu Woman Rep has dismissed it, saying it is only about two people.
In a statement through her social media pages, Shollei said she had finished the report which she referred to as ‘building bastions initiative’.
She said the current constitution is adequate but lacks goodwill from the top leadership.
“I have just finished reading the BBI report. The Building Bastions Initiative has always been, is now and will forever always be about ONLY TWO people. The biggest problem in Kenya is not a lack of laws or constitutional provisions. It is DUPLICITY and a lack of will and leadership at the top,”posted Shollei.
The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report has finally been handed over to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) taskforce has recommended a Constitutional amendment that would see reintroduction of the Office of the Prime Minister.
The change in structure of Government would require a referendum to endorse the proposals.
