Deputy President has endorsed an article in the Building Bridges Initiative referendum Bill saying it captures the needs of the ‘hustler nation’.
Through his Twitter handle, DP Ruto cited new Article 10 (a) in the Bill which he said it was introduced after the launch of the BBI report at Bomas of Kenya.
He said the section has captured the needs of his movement, Hustler Nation.
“New article 11A in the BBI Constitution Bill introduced after Bomas will anchor the ordinary people’s hustler economics of wheelbarrow, boda×2, mamamboga, pastoralists/butchers & guarantee maximum return on coffee, tea, korosho, sukari, maize. Bottom up not trickle down economics,” he tweeted.
This has sent a mixed signal to his supporters who have been waiting for him to declare his stand on the BBI referendum.
