Soy MP Caleb Kositany was yesterday handed a a leadership baton by elders from the Talai clan in Nandi.
The symbolic rungu given to the lawmaker has got tongues wagging with social media users speculating that the lawmaker is warming up for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat in 2022.
Through his Twitter handle, Kositany thanked the Talai elders led by the Chairman Reverend James Bassy for their blessings.
“Thanks Talai Council of Elders for your visit, gift and blessings,” posted Kositany.
Kositany is eyeing to succeed Governor Jackson Mandago and the move to host the Talai Council of Elders is seen as part of his preparation to launch his bid for the top seat.
