Dr Grace Amurle Soprin has today been sworn in as the new Chief Officer in charge of Finance at the County Government of West Pokot.
The swearing in ceremony was done at the official governors residence and witnessed by Governor Prof. John Lonyangapuo and other senior county officials.
The new Finance CO has affirmed that she will ensure that transparency and accountability is upheld in all undertakings.
Governor Lonyangapuo wished the new CO well as she takes up a new role replacing former CO Richard Koech who resigned after successfully being approved as the Clerk at the County Assembly of Baringo.
Before her appointment Dr Amurle served as the Director of Finance and Administration at the African Economic Research Consortium(AERC).
She holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology(JKUAT),a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business Administration from USIU and a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi.
Dr Amurle is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK)
