Former MCA Josphat Tarbei has been named as the United Democratic Alliance(UDA) party coordinator in Nandi County.
Tarbei served as MCA Kaptumo/Kaboi ward from 2013 to 2017 and contested for the Senate seat in 2017 but lost.
His appointment comes after a meeting held at Deputy President William Ruto’s Karen residence with Members of Parliament allied to the new political outfit.
UDA Secretary General Veronica Maina read out a list of county coordinators, mandated to oversee all the parties activities ahead of 2022.
According to the Secretary General, the party will also appoint coordinators in all the constituencies as they continue laying a foundation as part of preparation for the next general election.
