The County Government of Nandi is mourning the death of Truphena Kobiro who until her death was the Acting Secretary/ CEO of County Public Service Board.
Breaking the news of her demise, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang described her as a consummate and career civil servant whose immense contribution to the welfare of our the county’s public service will be greatly missed.
“Ms. Kobiro was a dedicated and hardworking officer who executed her responsibilities with a huge sense of commitment, integrity, focus and diligence,” Sang said via a Facebook post.
Governor Sang added: “At a personal level, I have lost a close friend and confidant. My condolences to Anthea Chepkogei and Firtz Gerald Kiprop for the loss of their loving mum. Pole also to the entire extended family, friends and relatives for this great and painful loss”.
Ms. Kobiro is said to have died of Covid-19 complications while undergoing treatment at an Eldoret Hospital on Monday evening.
